I think with dying light it's worth pointing out that the first one is better than the second. The sequel is just missing some of the magic of the original in every aspect, combat isn't as good, traversal feels weaker and the story isn't as interesting.vim not saying dying light 2 is a bad game, it's just not as fun as the first.

I think it does still fall under survival horror umbrella because of the item management system although I'm actually playing through it at the moment and it is considerably easier than earlier titles where key items would take up an inventory slot. I've always considered resource management to be a major factor in whether something is survival horror or not because my earliest experiences with it (RE, Dino crisis and galerians) all had it in one way or another.

Guitaroo man shouldn't be on a list about weird games, it might have been an outlier at the time but it's a rhythm game which became a saturated market not long after it's release, the problem guitaroo man had was that it wasn't really front and centre for showcases and flew under the radar but I honestly believe it could have been solid competition for the likes of guitar hero if it was given the chance.

Yeesh, Jericho is forgotten for a reason, I don't care how much they advertised it as a Clive barker product it's terrible on all fronts and even ends on a cliffhanger for a sequel that I don't think even went into preproduction.

Sniper elite is in my opinion a near perfect game if you like that genre and I recently played through the most recent zombie army game which stripped back the formula but was satisfying. I'd recommend them for anyone that fancies a fun time that you can just jump in and out of

As surprising as it sounds real world lock picking isn't that hard and is something you can pick up in a couple of hours with the right tools, from there on its all about getting used to the feeling of the pins to the point that some video game locks are too difficult to treat at realistic.
