We are back with another episode featuring David's impressions of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition. We chat more about our Pokémon Pokopia playthroughs, and I talk about the end of F-Zero 99's Meteor Limited Time Event. We also chat about a whole host of news including the Switch 2 patch, NVIDIA's sloppy DLSS 5 reveal, and Serebii.net's problems with people stealing their content. This Week in Switch 2 allowed for all of the Shacknews staff members to share their opinions of the hardware, games, and operating system on a weekly basis during its launch year. Instead of rushing to get a review-in-progress posted in June, we chose to take our time with the Nintendo Switch 2 in the interest of providing useful review content. This Week in Switch 2 allowed all of us to share our latest impressions of the console instead of remaining silent as the review work continued. The podcast continues on in 2026 as the Switch 2 and Nintendo both remain at the center of many huge gaming news stories.
