MAR10 Day 2026 festivities include a sweepstakes for a trip to Super Nintendo World

Nintendo account holders can use Platinum Points to enter for a chance to win a trip one of the United States Super Nintendo World theme parks.

With March 10 approaching, lovingly referred to by Nintendo fans as MAR10 Day, or Mario Day, Nintendo has prepared some special festivities for the occasion. As usual, a number of Mario Bros. games and spinoffs are on sale, as well as Mario toys and merchandise. However, Nintendo is also offering a sweepstakes inviting lucky winners to check out its Super Nintendo World theme parks at the United States Universal Studios theme park locations. The sweepstakes is open now and winners will get a free trip to check out Super Nintendo World.

Nintendo announced its Super Nintendo World sweepstakes as part of its MAR10 Day announcements. From now until May 31, 2026, fans with Nintendo Accounts can log in and use their accrued Platinum Points to acquire sweepstakes entries. Aftrer logging in, you can claim up to five entries for the contest, working out to 10 Platinum Points apiece. Users must be of 18 years of age or older and a citizen of the United States to enter.

Winners will be offered a flight to either Orlando, Flordida or Los Angeles, California, a covered standard hotel stay, transport from the airport to hotel and back, and multi-day passes to either the Universal Studios Florida or Universary Studios Hollywood theme parks where each Super Nintendo World theme park is located.

The Super Nintendo World theme parks have been big hits. Our own Senior Editor Ozzie Mejia got to try out the Hollywood location and was a huge fan of the food, drinks, and activities he experienced there.
