In ARC Raiders, one thing is for certain: whether it happens today, next week, or two years from now—the ARCs are going to get you.
Embark's new extraction shooter has been pushing gamers to the limit as they fend off swarms of unpredictable ARCs and other Raiders looking to steal their loot and send them back to Speranza empty-handed.
Raiders walk a fine line between having a proper stockpile of guns and gear, and having only a handful of springs and rubber parts left in their stash—all it takes is a few bad runs. Luckily for you, my Raider, Gorgon, has been doing some topside field research to figure out what weapons give you the best bang for your buck.
5 Hairpin & Kettle
Pennies On The Dollar
This kit was specially designed for stealthy assassinations. As ruthless as it may seem, during my time on the surface thus far, I've found that one of the most lucrative things to do is hunt down other Raiders.
The hairpin silenced pistol is extremely useful for taking out alarms and cameras that will give away your position as you approach your targets, and the kettle's semi-auto fire-rate is suprisingly fast, making it a formidable weapon for close to mid-range confrontations.
Given the stealthy spycraft theme of this build, I've added a jolt mine, which is a great way to catch Raiders off guard.
4 Rattler & Ferro
Dependable Long-Range Combo
One of Gorgon's most-used kits, this AR/battle rifle duo packs a serious punch. Coming in at 13,260 coins in value, this custom build comes equipped with a heavy supply of grenades including gas, light impact, and snapblast.
Why so many grenades, Gorgon?
Most times when you injure an opponent, they'll have enough time to duck behind cover, recover their shields and HP, and begin to return fire—unless you're well-trained in the art of chucking grenades.
—Gorgon
This is a very powerful build, especially if you use your gas grenades first to drain your target's stamina, followed by an onslaught of explosives and fully-automatic rattler rounds.
3 Stitcher & Anvil
Incredible Value
The majority of the value in this build comes from the anvil pistol, but its high damage makes it all worth it.
With a price tag of 16,881, this kit was designed with speed in mind, with lighter-weight weapons, and an adrenaline shot to give you all the stamina you need to evade ARC attacks.
This is a well-balanced build for both PvP encounters and fending off ARCs, as the anvil deals devastating headshot damage, and also has strong ARC armor penetration—so you can properly protect your precious loot.
2 Ferro & Burletta
The Loadout You Didn't Know You Needed
This build is all about closing the gap. What does that mean, Gorgon?
When you land that eye-wateringly beautiful headshot on an unsuspecting Raider, they'll cower in fear behind whatever they can find. Don't relent, take advantage of the Burletta pistol's high agility, chase them down, and finish what you started.
—Gorgon
Burletta has a great fire rate and decent damage, but its true value is how fast you can move with it. Mobility wins fights, as moving targets are harder to hit, and you're able to reposition quickly and get better angles on your targets.
1 Hairpin & Rattler
Opposites Attract
Sweet and spicy, hot and cold, PB and J, hairpin and rattler. No matter how much time you spend on the surface, you'll never be able to predict what your next expedition will be like. Fortunately for you, this pair of weapons will cover all your bases.
This is a versatile build that will allow you to be stealthy using the silenced hairpin pistol, while the rattler will provide the extra firepower and ARC armor penetration for when things really start to get hairy.
You'll notice I've included five adrenaline shots and five light impact grenades to add an extra layer of lethality.
