Bamboo Groves Location
The Bamboo Groves is located in the central region of the map, and it shares some resemblance to the Windswept Hills, the starting area of the game. You can reach the Bamboo Groves by traveling northwest of the Windswept Hills. You can also refer to the map above to find this biome easily. However, you'll need to ensure the following before charting your course:
- Pals at Bamboo Groves range between levels 10 and 20, so make sure that you're appropriately leveled before stepping into this region.
- There are six field bosses in this region with levels ranging between 23 and 45.
- In terms of resources, Bamboo Groves only offers wood, stone, and ore. However, to the east of Bamboo Groves is the Twilight Dunes where you can mine Sulfur.

Other Notable Features Of Bamboo Groves
You can also find unique bosses in the 25 dungeons spread out in the region, and the biome itself includes six fast travel points. Additionally, there's also a Black Market Merchant to be found in a cove in this area. So, it's worth exploring this region and check out everything there is to find and collect.
One of the primary reasons why you should consider discovering Bamboo Groves is to gain access to the Twilight Dunes, northeast of Bamboo Groves. As mentioned earlier, you can find Sulfur in the Twilight Dunes.
Sulfur is an important resource you'll need to craft gunpowder, and in turn, rifle ammo — crucial for crafting and wielding the best guns in the game.
The musket is one of the guns you can unlock upon reaching level 21. The weapon uses coarse ammo, which requires Sulfur to craft. The musket is a powerful rifle with the potential of killing most wild Pals in one shot. However, one of the biggest drawbacks of using the musket is that it only fires a single round before having to go through a long reload animation.
