Azurobe is a Level 17 boss that is a Water and Dragon type Pal, and with that level, you will actually be able to take them on fairly early on in the game. That being said, Azurobe is no pushover; truly, none of the bosses or high-level Pals in the game are pushovers if you approach them unprepared. Luckily, once you know what you are doing, the entire process of finding and defeating Azurobe is not that tough.
Where To Find Azurobe
There is only one location where you will find Azurobe out in the wild, and it's pretty easy to find, as it is just about in the dead center of the map. The only issue is that Azurobe is going to be chilling in the middle of a big lake.
You can easily get to the location by going to the Bridge of the Twin Knights Fast Travel point and jumping into the lake right there to swim to the center, where you will find Azurobe waiting for you. This isn't going to be a quick swim, so be sure you are ready to make the long journey.
This can also make the process of dying and returning to the boss fight pretty annoying, as you may have to repeat the swim over and over again. This is why you should come ready to beat Azurobe on your first attempt.
How To Weaken & Catch Azurobe
As mentioned, Azurobe is Level 17, and so you and your Pals should be at that level or even higher to gain an advantage over it. The best weapons you can use against Azurobe are Guns, but if you do not have access to any guns yet in the game, a bow with poison arrows works incredibly well.
In terms of Pals to use against it, try to use Pals that have Electric or Ice typing. These are the two elements that best perform against Water and Dragon, which is what Azurobe is. These Pals make the battle much easier and will do the most damage with their attacks.
- While your Pals are up close with Azurobe and attacking, try to stick to the shallows of the area, away from Azurobe to pepper them with your shots.
Avoid the deep water, as going into your swim animation can prove deadly at the wrong moment.
If Azurobe gets in too close to you, dodge away to put some more distance between you and get back to shooting at them. Hopefully, your Pals should take most of their attention for a majority of the fight.
