Next and current banners in Honkai: Star Rail

Just like our beloved Trailblazer's bizarre personality, the banners in Honkai: Star Rail are constantly changing, so it's a good idea to keep track of what the current banners and next banners are.

Limited-time rotating banners are called 'Event Warps' in Star Rail, and they usually run for three weeks. Whether it's a new banner or a rerun, once those three weeks are up, it's time to say goodbye and greet the new banners with your stack of Special Pass tickets. Or in my case, a stack of three tickets, because it's hard to save when you want every dang character in the game.

It's best to convert your Stellar Jade into these Special Pass tickets, not the regular Pass tickets used on the standard and Departure Warp banners, because you get plenty of the regular variety by just playing the game. It's much harder to get characters only available for a limited-time—as demonstrated by my pitiful Special Pass ticket reserves—so you'll want all the help you can get when the character you like is available.

Next banners in Honkai: Star Rail

As revealed by official drip marketing, Ashveil is one of the next banners in Honkai: Star Rail during version 4.1, with Ashveil a five-star Lightning-attacker of the Hunt path.

We'll just have to wait and see who the rerun banners will be in 4.1, as the leaks (for once) haven't been as abundant, or reliable, this time around. I guess that's what happens when three prominent leakers are arrested in China.

In other news, don't forget that you can claim Jing Yuan, Kafka, Imbibitor Lunae, Jingliu, Sparkle, Acheron, or Aventurine for free from the start of version 4.0, right until the end of version 4.2.

Future banners in Honkai: Star Rail

Some more Planarcadia characters coming beyond 4.0 were also teased through drip marketing:

• A variant of Blade
• A variant of Silver Wolf
• Evanescia
• Nihilux

And if keeping with tradition, we'll get an Elation path for the Trailblazer at some point in Planarcadia's main story.

Current banners in Honkai: Star Rail

Yao Guang, Sparxie, Cerydra, Rappa, and Sparkle are the current banners in Honkai: Star Rail, with all banners set to end on Tuesday, March 24. Yao Guang is a new five-star Physical-attacker of the Elation path on her Gleam of a Thousand Plumes Banner, and Sparxie is a new five-star Fire-attacker of the Elation path (and a variant of Sparkle) on her Project: Party Time Banner.

Cerydra, Rappa, and Sparkle are all returning five-stars on the Indelible Coterie Banner, with Cerydra a Wind-attacker of the Harmony path, Rappa an Imaginary-attacker of the Erudition path, and Sparkle a Quantum-attacker of the Harmony path.

The boosted four-star characters on the current banners are:

• Pela (Ice, Nihility)
• Hanya (Physical, Harmony)
• Qingque (Quantum, Erudition)

Also, remember that Saber and Archer are also still running on the special Collaboration Banner, and you can expect Saber and Archer to stick around for "a long time." I wish I could be more specific than that, but sorry, that's all miHoYo gave us to work with. What I can tell you is that Saber is a five-star Wind-attacker of the Destruction path, and Archer is a five-star Quantum-attacker of the Hunt path.

Next Light Cone banner in Honkai: Star Rail

All we know about version 4.1 is that new character Ashveil will be debuting, so it's all but confirmed that we'll be getting a new five-star Hunt Light Cone—Ashveil's signature.

As there's been no leaks on who the banner reruns might be in version 4.1, reliable or otherwise, we can't even rely on guesswork to list what might be coming. So for now, all we can do is wait for the 4.1 livestream to get some official information.

Current Light Cone banner in Honkai: Star Rail

Dazzled by a Flowerly Word and When She Decided to See are the current Brilliant Fixation Light Cone banners in Honkai: Star Rail during Phase 2 of version 4.0. These are Sparxie and Yao Guang's signature Light Cones, respectively.

Epoch Etched in Golden Blood, Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker, and Earthly Escapade are also running on the Coalesced Truths Banner in Phase 2. These are Cerydra, Rappa, and Sparkle's signature five-star Light Cones, respectively.

All of the four-star boosted Light Cones on the current Light Cone banners are:

• Planetary Rendezvous (Harmony)
• Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat (Nihility)
• The Story's Next Page (Remembrance)

Don't forget that Archer and Saber's signature Light Cones are also a part of the Collaboration Banner. Just tab to the A Thankless Coronation Light Cone to try for Saber's, and The Hell Where Ideals Burn Light Cone to try pulling for Archer's instead.

Honkai: Star Rail banner list

Honkai: Star Rail has taken to throwing banners our way at an alarming rate these days. The 'ol standard of a new character and a rerun every phase of a patch has now turned into a dice roll on whether the Indelible Coterie banner and its six character reruns will appear or not. (Do you not have enough of our money already miHoYo!?)

Choice paralysis aside, these special banners have been a great way to ensure no character gets left behind for too long, which happens all too often in miHoYo's other gacha juggernaut, Genshin Impact.
