Capcom is about ready to launch the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection at the end of March 2026. That would, of course, leave the question of what comes next, and many have had their hearts set on Mega Man Legends for quite a while. Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Producer Shingo Izumi says there are no plans for it at this time, but he added that it’s possible.

Izumi shared his thoughts on a Mega Man Legends collection in a recent interview with RPGSite. There, when asked about the possibility, he claimed it’s not entirely off the table:

It’s been a long time since Mega Man Legends 3 was canceled, leaving fans heartbroken for the unresolved fate of Mega Man Volnutt (the version of Mega Man in that series). But Capcom has also been killing it with its classic collections. Not only have we seen fighting collections and even Disney platformer collections come out, but Mega Man has stayed in circulation through collections like the upcoming Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection.

RPGSite aptly points out that Mega Man Legends is one of the last remaining sets of classic games left for Capcom to dust off. While it remains to be seen if it will happen, there’s always some hope to be had when a developer says it’s a possibility. As the Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection prepares for launch on March 27 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Switch, stay tuned to the Mega Man topic for more updates and news.
