Marathon is an unforgiving extraction shooter set on and above the mysterious world of Tau Ceti IV. As a Runner, players will embody a Shell, scavenge for resources, and hopefully exfil from a zone while overcoming UESC forces and other players. It’s an intense, complex, and rich game. Marathon’s release date is March 5, 2026, and it is a brand-new game from Bungie based upon one of its IPs. As an extraction shooter, Marathon will demand that players become intimately familiar with the risk-reward of going on a run, where any gear you take in could be lost forever.
