Sandy and Clint are Stardew Valley's newest marriage candidates
The two characters will become marriage options in Stardew Valley 1.7.
ConcernedApe’s Stardew Valley anniversary video ended with an announcement that he’d been teasing for weeks: Sandy and Clint will be the next two marriage candidates in Stardew Valley for the game’s 1.7 update.
ConcernedApe read the names from an envelope at the end of the Stardew Valley 10th anniversary video. There’s no timetable on the release date for 1.7, but when it arrives, players will be able to marry either Sandy or Clint, in addition to the rest of the game’s existing bachelors and bachelorettes.
Both Sandy and Clint have been in Stardew Valley since its launch, and both run shops. Sandy's in the Calico Desert, and Clint's in Stardew Valley proper.
The video also confirms that 1.7 will bring other new content, but no details were given today. The rest of the video is about the journey it took to make and maintain Stardew Valley, with ConcernedApe showing off footage from early builds of the game and scrapped content.
