Marvel’s Wolverine will launch this fall on September 15, 2026, developer Insomniac Games confirms. The news comes as the studio is gearing up to share more information in the spring.

Insomniac announced the release date in a post on X. “Let's cut to the chase,” the studio wrote, before revealing the September 15 release date. This news comes less than two weeks after a packed PlayStation State of Play, which Marvel’s Wolverine was absent from.

Insomniac did not provide any new details about Marvel’s Wolverine, but the developer previously confirmed that they’ll have more to share sometime this spring.

With Marvel’s Wolverine set for a September release, it joins a fall gaming lineup that’ll include GTA 6 in November. Be sure to bookmark Shacknews’ 2026 release calendar to keep up with everything coming out this year.
