Nioh 3 has been out for less than a month, but it already has more momentum than any previous game in the series so far. Koei Tecmo announced that the game has crossed over 1 million units sold, making it the fastest selling game in the Nioh series.

Koei Tecmo announced this accolade on social media this week, celebrating Nioh 3’s successful launch as it pushed the entire series past 10 million units sold altogether. “Thank you for your continued support,” the account posted. “We hope you keep enjoying the Nioh series.”

Nioh 3 was a treat this month. I very much enjoyed the game in my review, noting that its open world is beautiful and its combat is the best an already great series has offered. Many other critics and players agreed, giving the game quite the praise and accolades throughout February.

With Nioh 3 having come out of the gate so strong, it will likely remain on many players’ minds throughout the year. Stay tuned to the Nioh 3 topic for more updates and news.
