God of War fans rejoice, the original trilogy is currently being remade by Santa Monica Studio. The team behind the critically acclaimed reboot is developing God of War Trilogy Remake, and it features a voice players haven’t heard in years.

God of War Trilogy Remake was announced on February 12, 2026 at the Sony State of Play. The teaser didn’t reveal much, other than all three original games are being remade. However, a surprise awaited viewers after the teaser as TC Carson revealed he is returning to voice Kratos in the remake. Carson voiced Kratos back in the original games, but for the reboot Kratos was voiced by Christopher Judge.

The remake is currently in development, so it might be a while before players hear more about it. Carson says that the next time you hear from the team, “we’re coming with something big, baby.” We’ll be sure to keep you updated here at Shacknews when new info on the remake drops.
