How to get the FS-12 shotgun in Delta Force

The FS-12 shotgun released with Delta Force Season 8, titled Morphosis. Unlocking it is easier than in previous seasons, but you'll still need to work for it.

The FS-12 Shotgun arrived in Delta Force with Season Morphosis, and for the first time, it’s possible to unlock it in a single day for both modes if you play well enough. It’s still a grind, especially if you play solo or have trouble extracting, but it is totally doable with patience and time.

To unlock the FS-12 Shotgun, you need to extract with a lot of valuable loot, then expend some cheaper items to craft the gun.

You can find the unlock menu at the bottom of the screen when you open the Season tab in the Event menu of either Operations or Warfare.

There are three tiers you need to reach to receive unlock progress:

  • Extract with a total of 300,000 Tekniq Alloy in one day: 40 unlock points
  • Extract with a total of 1,000,000 Tekniq Alloy in one day: 40 unlock points
  • Extract with a total of 3,000,000 Tekniq Alloy in one day: 20 unlock points

These value loot value tasks reset daily, so if you don’t make the requirements in your first day of playing, you can go again.

Once you reach 100 unlock points, you then need to find or, preferably, buy the following items to craft the FS-12 shotgun:

  • One Forehead Thermometer
  • One Air-cooled Heat-Sink
  • One Duct Tape
  • One Document Fragment

Provided you’ve reached the 100-point unlock threshold and have the required items in your stash, you’ll be able to create one shotgun to use in your next raid.

Like all items you take into a round of Delta Force Operations, if you die with the FS-12, it’s gone forever. You’ll need to craft another one, find it in a weapon’s crate or other loot spawn, or kill another player and take theirs.

If you don’t want to do any of that, you can simply buy the new shotgun off the market for its current going price.

Unlocking the FS-12 in Warfare is easy. Acquire enough points in matches you play and it will be permanently unlocked. From there, you can start using it in matches, earning new attachments, and so on.

For the least stressful results, I highly recommend playing as a Support Operator (Stinger is a good starting choice) and acting as your friendly battlefield heal bot. Kills are a secondary objective in this case.

Your primary concern is constantly healing and reviving your teammates with your abilities. Have an Ammo Box equipped as one of your deployables to get even more score. I’ve easily racked up 10,000-15,000 score in a round and haven’t needed to slay out to do so.
