ShackStream: Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past On The Stevetendo Show! Episode 662

Time for Retro Night with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past!

Tonight, on The Stevetendo Show, we’re getting back into our retro roots with one of my favorite games. This evening, we’re starting a Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past playthrough. I have been debating over adding a retro night to the Stevetendo Show lineup, so this will be a trial run to see how things go. With some assistance, I think the final concept for Retro Night will be twice a month, so fans of the show will know when to expect said playthrough as well as get enough out of them to come back for more.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is one of my favorite games, so I try to play this at least once a year. The same could be said for Super Mario RPG as well. With the overall idea of The Stevetendo Show moving more towards modern Nintendo games, it’s always a nice change of pace to go back to classic Nintendo games. It’s a way to pay homage to the start of the show and not forget where The Stevetendo Show started from. Set to go live at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT, join The Stevetendo Show for a Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past playthrough.

Shackers who want to join in on the fun can head over to the Shacknews Twitch channel, where you can tune into The Stevetendo Show every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

If you can't make tonight's show, you can watch Wednesday nights at 5 p.m. PDT/8 p.m. EDT. Super Mario Galaxy 2 should be back in the rotation next week, so fans of space travel will have to wait a bit longer. The action is heating up and you won't want to miss out.

Be sure to check out the Shacknews Twitch channel and the Shacknews VODs YouTube channel. Catch up on some of your favorite Shacknews programs with a subscription to the YouTube channel and a follow to the Twitch channel. If you aren’t aware, Shacknews has a new service for you called Shackmaps. The lovely Shacknews staff has gone through some of your favorite video games to keep you from getting lost.

The schedule for The Stevetendo Show this week is going to look a little off. Retro Night is this evening, and we might have another fan favorite tomorrow night. For those who don’t know, Shacker’s Choice night is a night where one of the loyal Stevetendo Show viewers spends their Shack Chat points to pick a game for me to play on stream. Usually, it’s a game I’ll be playing for the very first time, but that’s not always the case. If we don’t get someone to pick a game for me, we’ll be jumping back into Pokemon Legends Z-A, so either way, it will be a fun time.

Keep coming up with new games that you’d love to see on The Stevetendo Show. If it's on The Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 Online service, it could see a starring role in an upcoming Stevetendo episode. I've mentioned in the past that you never know when Nintendo is going to add games to the Nintendo Switch Online service. They shadow-dropped Fire Emblem for the Game Cube section so you just never know. We could be closer to Donkey Kong 64, various Pokemon games and Rad Racer and not even know it!
