At the very top (for now) of Hytale's list of ores, Adamantite sits as the current king. If you want to make the very best gear that is currently available in the game, you will need to track this down and smelt it into ingots. This is how to do just that.
How to get Adamantite in Hytale
To find Adamantite in Hytale, you will need to make your way to the fourth zone, the Devastated Lands. The area is largely defined by the massive volcanoes that dominate the horizon, and the dangerous enemies that dwell here. You can find Adamantite above and below ground, and it looks like a deep reddish ore in a light grey block.
To get to the Devastated Lands, you will need to make your way to either the far north or the far south of the map from your starting point in the Emerald Grove. Personally, I prefer the far north, as there are no annoying giant, poisonous wasps to be found there.
Like all the ores, you can smash it with your pickaxe, causing it to drop. As long as you have space in your inventory, you will automatically pick it up as long as you stand close enough. From there, take it to your furnace, where you can smelt it into an Adamantite Ingot, which is then used to make armor and weapons.
Keep in mind that Devastated Lands is about as dangerous as Hytale currently gets, so you will want to bring good weapons and armor with you, as well as lots of torches if you plan on going caving, and lots of food to heal up when you inevitably take damage.
