My house is made of concrete and WiFi coverage is a mess, the house is 3 levels, about 3,000 square feet. Many devices, 5 people constantly streaming stuff.
Over the years we've acquired 5 routers, so I have 10 WiFi networks (2.4 and 5 per router).
It's fine for everyone in the house but me, since I need a very stable 5ghz connection, but my generic netgear nighthawk and lynksys don't seem to be doing what I need.
Long term I'd go mesh, but that's an expensive conversion for my house, so for now I'd like to replace one of my routers with a router that has a very good / stable 5ghz connection.
My main use case is streaming from my desktop pc and ps5 (each wired) to my steamdeck.
Budget is $200.
Any obvious recommendations?
