Newsbrief: Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide. 

The milestone was shared by developer Sandfall Interactive to celebrate the first anniversary of the award-winning RPG. The studio also noted that Expedition 33 was the most downloaded new third-party release on Xbox Game Pass in 2025. 

"Since launch, we’ve been blown away by the way fans have reacted to our game,” said Guillaume Broche, creative director at Sandfall. "Every day has felt like a dream for us, and we owe to all our players a lifetime of thank you. You made this year unforgettable."
