Anyone who pre-orders Marathon ahead of its March 5 release will walk away with some great cosmetic items for their runners and gear. But beyond pre-order bonuses, players can also choose which edition of the game they want: a humble standard edition, a packed Deluxe Edition, and even a fancy Collector’s Edition.

All Marathon pre-orders receive a handful of cosmetic items for their accounts and gear. You must pre-order the game prior to its launch in order to receive the following items:

This is literally just the base game of Marathon. Those who pre-order will get the above items. This is a great entry point for those who don’t mind getting a few extra bells and whistles.
While the standard version of Marathon just includes the game, the Deluxe Edition offers access to a battle pass, tokens to use on said pass, and unique cosmetics:
As you can see, the Deluxe Version has unique cosmetics for four of the main runners. As you can see from the images, Midnight Decay is a darker style cosmetic featuring black armor with blue, paint-like accents. This dark style may be useful in remaining hidden.
The Marathon Collector’s Edition includes all content from the Deluxe Edition, which is great, as usually these things don’t come with the actual game.
There are a lot of neat little goodies tucked away in the Marathon Collector’s Edition. If it’s anything like the ones Bungie made for Destiny 2, there may even be some secrets for players to discover. Anyone who picks up this version from the Bungie Store or PlayStation Direct will also get two additional cosmetic items.
After a couple of delays and hiccups, Marathon is almost here.
